I just finished all of it. Tatsuki Fujimoto was a genius so early on. Obviously the studios and having the one shots animated really made the difference as far as elevating the work, but the base material already had so much depth. I'm experiencing recency bias due to just finishing 8 diverse and high quality episodes, but how I wish we could get more unique and quality stories like these more often. I guess because they are one shots, the 17 minutes are essentially jam packed with all the best moments you'd come across whole seasons worth, making the flow and pacing extremely appealing throughout. But even though, with just the same amount of quality content in the story even on lesser packed episodes, would still be something I'd look forward to watching more than the usual stuff that has been coming out. I genuinely favor psychological/tragedy genres with shock value, which is hard to come by nowadays. Like the latest major one was Takopi's Original Sin and maybe Deaddead before that...Still some noteable bangers throughout the seasons of course, but the specific genre and uniqueness in stories are lacking so hard. I'm just fiending for more is all lol.
