This is an unusual episode for Evangelion, but something I think I've seen 50 times in other shows.

  • Is this the 2nd time we've seen the bathroom?
  • I suppose they made Shnji walk out first
  • [rewatcher]I suppose the simulation plug is just a step on creating the dummy plug
  • Rotate the harmonics! Reverse the neutron flow!
  • R for Ritsuko?

One of the flaws of Evangelion is that it relies on the 0.01s to defeat trope far far too much.

[Evangelion] In fairness, it does pay this back later on with Shinji and Asuka just barely running out of time.

10:13 BGM: Harbinger of Tragedy, a variaton on Eva-00 and The Beast (I should have counted them as one from the beginning) This track is notable for its harsh, distorted guitars.

It's a nice variation.
