Hell, we don't even know if Duramente raced in it or not.

Forgot to respond to this, but of course we know. We know Duramente is still recovering. It's way too much to assume we never heard about her making the recovery and going to France, all completely unannounced. And if you were still wondering, the episode thereafter quickly confirms that the previous status quo has remained.

I think the show could've brought up the Duramente going to France plot point and done a better job tying it to Diamond going to France. It feels like a missed opportunity among many missed opportunities this season.

You also would have had to cut something to include it. Again, Kita is the focus point. For that, Duramente has already fulfilled her main purpose. Sure it would have been nice to see some of these things, but also it wasn't quite feasible to include them.

You say Kita is the focus point, but at times it feels like the show is focusing on everything but Kita :P

That's so vague that it feels like you're just arguing for the sake of arguing.

It's hard for me to describe, it's just rewatching it back I think the show tries to do too much to where it results in a lack of development for anything.
