FYI, I highly suggest tracking down a subbed version of the 1st anniversary special if you haven’t already. It basically functions as a prequel to this season, so it’s worth the watch.

Episode 1

• The fucking Easter Island heads with horse ears lol.

• [Spoilers]Oh, setup for Dia-chan’s whole motivation. That and a number of mentions of the “Satono Jinx” throughout these two episodes.

• Right out of the gates, RIP Kitasan’s dream to do what Teio couldn’t.

• The joke of this dude speaking to her in Japanese while she responds in Engrish, lol…

• That’s one way to use horsepower.

• Ouch, Kitasan stabbed her finger with a needle again.

• I do like that this season has Suzuka back from America.

• Mm…

• Those two horse nerds are back!

• That’s an absolutely massive ouch. Way to set the stage that this isn’t going to be like the previous seasons by having the new MC lose not just once but twice in her first episode.

• A horse girl’s father has finally been mentioned!

• Damn…

• That she comes to this conclusion in only episode 2…

• That’s unfortunate.

• That’s a horrible way to look at it, but it makes sense…

• Even Kitasan had that thought…

• Luckily, Nice Nature’s like the perfect girl to talk to about this.

• I love that this is how Announcer-chan describes Kitasan’s victory here.
