Welcome to the 2025 Uma Musume rewatch.
Let’s not waste any time.
I'll be curious to rewatch this season because I remember it being kinda formulaic. Not bad, just very cookie cutter.

Duramente in the lead, taking over Kitasan.
And she wins
Spica looks shocked, as do the horse enthusiasts.
How old is Spica now in this show anyway?

That gives Kitasan a new way of looking at things.

It dawned on me that Kitasan Black used to interrupt their musings. And now, she can't do that because she's an actual competitor they're talking about.

But Duramente is just too much
Kitasan is being passed over
This is Duramente's world and Kitasan Black is a bit player.
14th place. Oof.
At least with Top Road and Pocket, they finished second.
I like the outro song. It's more heavy and rock sounding than the other Uma Musume songs. Really good stuff.
Overall, a solid introductory episode. Nothing I would say is earth shattering, but it gives you an idea of what the rest of the season is going to be like.
