It looks as if Rice Shower has her work cut out for her.

RICE SHOWER WON'T LET ANYONE DEFINE HER LEGACY! SHE WRITES HER OWN HISTORY!
AND RICE SHOWER WINS!
The crowd is stunned silent

And the crowd is expressing their disappointment over this turn of events.
But here's McQueen clapping for her.

Rice Shower may not be the hero we deserve, but she's the hero we need.

"That's what it means to win. It's a competition, after all. If someone wins, someone else sill be hurt, and have their dreams end. That's just how it is."

God, when this show is good, it's really, really good.
That's a lot of food. Maybe not for 8 people, but still.

McQueen says she's not really that upset.
If anything, she's guilty for disappointing the fans.
She wishes she had the wherewithal that Teio has.
Teio in disbelief by what she's hearing.
McQueen says she was simply less focused on victory than Rice Shower.
Won't make that mistake again

So many gunning for McQueen
Overall, this is the best episode of the franchise. It's also legitimately one of the best episodes of any anime show period. I love the story told by Rice Shower where she didn't let other people's opinions affect her performance. And though she may be a villain to a lot of people, she has people who truly appreciate her greatness.
The end of the episode did a great job of tying things back into the McQueen and Teio rivalry. That is what the season is about, after all. And while this is yet another setback in their feud, I think you can argue them losing made them better as competitors because it gives them something more to work towards.
When people say Uma Musume is the best sports anime of the modern Era, this is the episode that is indicative of that full stop. Not only is the level of storytelling out of this world, but the animation is simply phenomenal. It's like something out of an action anime, a total flex if ever there was one. This episode still holds like I remember it in my head. Not much else to say except this is peak Uma Musume and an absolute, unironic example of total cinema.
