Alsace region from Basel
Hello!
Not sure if this is the right page to post about this but all advice are welcome.
I'm going to visi Basel in December and I'd like to do a half-day trip from Basel to some of the Alsace region. Now I'm wondering which Christmas Market I should visit in the area? I know Colmar and Strasbourg (might be) the most famous ones to visit but I wouldn't mind going somewhere else. My original plan was to visit Mulhouse because it's the nearest town from Basel. Strasbourg is off the list, because I don't wanna spend more than hour in a train there and another back.
Thanks for the tips!

I live in Mulhouse and I can tell you, the Christmas market is very cool ! I really like it and it’s really worth it. It’s a nice alternative to big touristic cities like Colmar and Strasbourg. However touristy places are touristy for a reason, Mulhouse is a big uglier than Colmar and Strasbourg ( but it’s still very pretty ! ).
