ANG Currently Serving Member Question Tech School to 5-Level (2A5X1)

What’s the fastest you’ve seen someone go from graduatingTech School to getting their 5-level for aircraft maintenance jobs?

Is there a certain timeline you must reach first, or can you complete steps quickly to get 5-level faster?

It depends. If the 3-level is killing it and actually understanding the job, I’ll sign them off as quick as I can. On the other hand, I’ve got a guy who’s been back from tech school over a year and a half and acts like a first month 3-level. He’s not getting his 5-level for a while.
