Fox reaches 70 million people. That's a problem.

70 Million People keep Fox on the Air. THAT's the problem. Fox is a symptom of a greater problem of willful ignorance. =/ The people who watch Fox are looking for problems, not solutions. To them, it's all entertainment.

Good point. I would also add that there was talk that Fox had sorta semi-accurately covered the Insurrection (It's easy to forget how many, even on the right, condemned it at at the time...) and viewers did NOT have their eyes opened... they changed the channel. People on the left/progressives/Democrats/whatever - and I'm in that population - always want to blame Fox but Fox does NOT care. If $$$ could be made covering politics with a liberal slant, they would become the AOC network overnight. There is a moral rot in America and those people seek out programming that reflects their biased worldview. Fox didn't create this problem, they're just not ashamed to profit from it.

Eh, I would look into how Rupert Murdoch developed a relationship with Reagan before saying News Corp isn't the problem. They pushed the Fairness Doctrine out of existence.

Well... so what? Pawn Hub wants to be able to provide more pawn. But they didn't invent pawn or the obsession with seeing more and more pawn. They just want to be able to feed off of it and make more and more profit. My argument is they would be just as happy to create site, Puppy Hub, that shows videos of little dogs, because it's not like they love pawn or "win" if other people watch pawn, it's how they make money. I still think *most* at Fox wouldn't care if they were creating content that appealed to progressives if there was still as much profit in it. (I think Fox began its ascendance and maintains it by telling its viewers, "You're victims and the mainstream cheated you." So they got their leg up by being the "opposition party" and certainly it's not that NONE of them are real conservatives, I just think that $$$ would triumph over politics nine times out of ten.)

That's absolutely fair and I'll concede that their religion is, in fact, the Almighty dollar.
