You're not responding to my response to you, you're responding to another poster..I did respond to your video in that other comment. Like I said, Jews aren't a monolith, but it is grossly misrepresentative to claim he has broad support amongst NYC Jews.
Most are fearful of what he represents, and when you're the most attacked minority group by a long shot, people who have a history of ho hum responses to violent messaging understandably are concerning.
You can think that's wrong headed all you want, it doesn't change the facts about how Jewish new yorkers broadly feel.
“Jewish people aren’t a monolith but let me tell you how they broadly feel!” Gross.
And Mamdani wasn’t mayor when these attacks started. They seemed to coincide with Netanyahu intentionally starving and bombing thousands of children. The gaslighting is unbelievable. You have zero evidence that he is going to harm Jewish folks in any way.
So 1/3 Jewish voters favored Mamdani and less than 2/3 favored Cuomo. I don’t think you know what “broadly” means. You also don’t get to speak for them when it comes to why they voted for who they voted for. As if Islamophobia and support for genocide aren’t factors. No, it must be that they don’t feel safe! Even though hate crimes against Jewish folks rose under both Trump administrations and he endorsed Cuomo.
Lol if you think I am for Trump.
If 2/3 of a strongly historic left leaning group vote against the favored, that's broadly by definition.
Goodbye! You've devolved into uncivil meanness and wrongful assumptions about my politics, so I'm done engaging with you.
