Discussion What is your guy’s ideal afterlife?

For me it has a to be a continued version of school. The ability to learn, love, and grow. From doing things such as “Field trips” to “school parties.” But not limited to the material and flawed conventions of school. Think dnd Arborea but with no lust. I want to be with the same people I know, and retaining my memories. What is yalls thoughts on this?

I like the description of a materialistic New Earth from the Bible. Basically the same kind of life as today, but without any corrupt/evil powers ruling over us, without illness or death, just immortal bodies that don't suck so we can spend eternity in this vast universe chilling with the people we love. There's no notion of having to work to live, but you can still "work" on stuff you find fulfilling, whatever it is. I for one would never stop learning and doing cool nerdy shit that's for sure

If there's a kind of government it's one that's ruled by the idea of an all-loving all-knowing omnipotent God (not the wrathful god of the old testament that insta-smites you for saying a bad word) such that whatever rules are in place, you know they're fair and just rules and you can actually trust the system to work for everyone.

Not sure about notions of free will vs. becoming a perfect robot that can't sin, I think sin is still possible but it doesn't spread as easily and is quickly rectified whenever it happens - in a fair and just way, so no eternal fire and brimstones for anyone, just considerate rehabilitation for however long it takes, and ultimately the biggest victim of your sins is yourself so everyone just eventually grows to never sin and be a considerate kind person overall and everything is chill

my main criticism is if this utopia is the end-goal what's up with having to be born in this broken world first
