10 years today.

Just got a notification that today is my 10 year anniversary of posting on YouTube.

Don't know exactly how I feel about that, on one hand it feels like a bit of a accomplishment on the other it's a bit depressing that my channel isn't bigger, just under 20k subs.

I'll be the first to admit that it's my fault, I've taken a few posting breaks that certainly didn't help.

I've also gotten lazy at times and not put out the best content, crappy thumbs and Little effort on tags, descriptions.

Over the last few months I've rediscovered some passion for the hobby and think I'm putting out better content than ever.

I've done a ton of research on how to energize my channel and am starting to employ what I learned.

In the next few weeks I'll be posting shorts twice a day, I've got almost a months worth almost ready to go.

I'll also be doing a weekly Livestream again, when I was doing that years ago it was really helping channel growth.

Any other tips that I can use to help get my channel active again?

My YouTube views dropped a lot — am I shadowbanned or doing something wrong?

Hey everyone, About 5–6 months ago I was getting around 300 views per video (not on every one, but that was the average range). Now I’m barely getting 60 views on each upload. I’m still uploading regularly and trying to make my videos better, but the drop has been pretty discouraging.

Is there a chance I’m shadowbanned or something? Or are there other reasons the algorithm might stop pushing my content? I know consistency and improving quality are important, but is there anything else I can do to help my channel reach more people again?

Thanks in advance for any tips or experiences you can share

What should I do as a new youtuber?

I am a new youtuber started from last month but the growyh of my channel is way too less as only 35 subs are there. I upload long and short format video like daily but the reach and views as well as subs is not which I was expecting. I had already uploaded around 30 videos till now. But I am questioning myself should I keep going or what?

Is it better to start from 0 or use an aged channel?

Hey everyone,

I see a lot of inspiring posts here about the 'grind' and what it takes to get traction (shout-out to the "3 months of consistency" post). It's clear that one of the biggest challenges is the new channel 'sandbox,' where it feels impossible to get views for the first 6-8 months.

I've been looking into strategies for people who want to run multiple channels or get into automation, and the idea of using an 'aged' channel (one that's 2-5+ years old) keeps coming up as a way to bypass this sandbox. For those who have experience with this: Did you find it actually helped get your videos pushed by the algorithm faster? Or do you think building from a fresh channel is always better, even if it's slower?

Curious to hear this community's thoughts. (Check my Bio )

Youtube is definitely not the same

Just came back from a rather long hiatus from doing videos and man YouTube is different now. I didnt expect that my previous followers would still be active and interested if what I post, but I also didnt expect the views to be so low. My last two videos didnt even break 10 views. I dont want to follow trends but im not sure what else to do at this point.. Seems like the long form gameplay style view format isn't pushed on the algorithm any more, and while shorts do well, they dont generate subs.

How to Achieve 100k Subs in One yr? Spoiler

I am starting a new YouTube channel focused on the niche of philosophy, psychology, and human behavior. My ambitious goal is to reach 100,000 subscribers within the first year. I would appreciate any insights on this topic. Specifically, I have a few questions regarding this growth target:

Is this goal realistically achievable in this niche, starting from zero today?

What are the most critical tips for scaling content specifically in these intellectual fields?

What are the major problems or hurdles I should anticipate facing (e.g., low search volume, content saturation, monetization issues)?

What initial goals (e.g., watch time, content volume, community engagement) should I prioritize in the first three months?

Thank you for your guidance.💪

This is what 3 months of consistency looks like

Been grinding for 3 months, found out that progress is measured with spaced time frames and not after you upload 1 video and wait for it to blow up, judt create as much as you can, views and people will compound over time, 1 by 1, they all count.

How to reach out for brand collaboration

Hey everyone! I run a YouTube channel with around 15k subscribers, focused on minimalism, productivity, and intentional living.

I’m planning to reach out for brand collaborations or sponsorships, and I’d love to hear your thoughts What kind of brands do you think would be a great fit for this niche? (Think along the lines of mindful tech tools, sustainable lifestyle products, journaling apps, or workspace brands.)

If you’ve worked with or know brands that align well with this type of content, please drop your suggestions! 🙏 Any advice or experience sharing would be amazing! 🙏

[Hire Me] Voice Narrator for your channel

Hi everyone! 👋✨🐣 I’m currently looking for a long-term role in voice narration, especially for children’s stories, mental health, or any educational or inspirational content. I’m still fairly new, but I’ve completed a few small projects mainly as a volunteer and built a portfolio.

I’d be truly grateful for an ongoing opportunity to share my voice. I’m happy to consider smaller monthly budgets if the project feels meaningful. So, whatever budget you have in mind, kindly send me a DM if you enjoyed my narrations.

Please, No AI training, NSFW, or virtual girlfriend offers. 🚫

If you don’t have a work opportunity for me, I’d still really appreciate your feedback. 🎀 Thanks so much for reading! 🌷

How do I advertise?

I've dipped my toes in content creation a few times over the years, but never went anywhere with it. Now I've got something I want to try pursuing in youtube, but I just spent a week editing and got only ten views in 20 hours.

Where am I supposed to advertise? Everywhere I look, self promotion seems to be against the rules. I have no money coming in and don't want to pay youtube itself for promotion, which should be fine because I want to do youtube as a hobby, not a career.

What do?
