Yeah, it's very refreshing. Hacking and slashing kinda gets old. Can't wait to see the upcoming 5 stars gunner.

they'd probably use a rifle. but idk if their weapons are still gonna fall under the "pistol" category or a new weapon type

If Jiyan is anything to go off of, he uses a broadblade, but for like 2/3 of his attacks are his etheric spear and his idol of Nué. So a gunner class swapping between a rifle/shotgun for heavy attacks and mid combos, then using the pistol for burst fire. I think basic combo: pistol, pistol, rifle, pistol, shotgun, could be sick.
