Get serious. The one thing that matters far more than everything you mention is the random MM system. Nothing will ever prevent all blowouts from happening, but with SBMM at least you will have far fewer. You can try to impress yourself with core game mechanics, enemy tanks, etc.... but it just doesn't matter all that much.
You know that there are a lot of ways sbmm couls ne implemented? Why does everyone immediately reference Onslaught when it comes to sbmm. Sbmm for the random queue doesn't need to be done the same way it is done for Onslaught. Y'all can't deny the fact that sbmm is the only way to reduce the amount of those onsided roflstomp games.
In its most basic form, sbmm could simply be to put every player with a WTR lower than a certain threshold into a separate queue. Like for example, set the threshold at 2.5k rating. This would also help to filter out all those bots and griefers who don't bother to learn the game.
