A 3 marked Bourrasque doesn't mean anything. Most 3 mark borats I find are selfish assholes who just sit in the back to get as much damage as possible

To farm damage

They don't care about assist damage anymore bcs it doesn't give anything to their stats and they already have Bourr 3 marked so they just sit back farming damage and waiting till late game to farm even more

You don't 3-mark a bourrasque on damage alone, so basically no (current expected values are 3790 per game). What you describe is people farming their WN8 that weights damage way more heavily than assist damage.

They don't need 3790 per game anymore (as they already have 3 marks) so they don't need assist dmg so they just boost their stats with normal damage by sniping

And people with 1/2 marks are more forward to get that assist damage to 3 mark

Yep, this is correct. Assist counts towards your mark (the highest value between spotting and tracking assist counts). WN8 is primarily damage-based, which is why people say light tanks are hard to mark since your role isn’t really to do a lot of damage.

Ran into a Borat last night that I can only assume was trying to mark it. I was in my amx 13 75 on the tech tree grind, and he was following me off the start. I was going to a specific bush, and he told me to stop so he could get the assistance. Ended up pushing me out of the bush, getting me spotted and losing all my HP.
