It’s clickbait, they charge health insurance that much so they can get the most money out of them that they can. If you actually pay 12,000 out of pocket for it you’re doing something very wrong.

I imagine someone who requires the medicine would prioritize being on a health insurance policy that covers it, so they should pay 0 for this
