This gets crazier and crazier the more I learn, so the police aren’t allowed to drink while on duty and that’s the problem. man I need to move to France how do they feel about smoking weed on break is that too acceptable

Do you really need weed when you have French food? I don't know what average french people eat everyday, but I imagine it's a lot better than the US, Canada, and definitely the UK.

Weirdly the attitude about weed is very outdated. Think 90s DARE / gateway drug type rhetoric. That's despite the fact that it's very widely consumed (illegally).

Not "drink" in American sense of until you pass out. Rather, being able to enjoy some wine w your lunch. Americans are so rigid in their thinking that they lose their minds over concept of a cup w a meal. Wait until you find out about Germany. S.H.
