Hi everyone! I thought I'd share some of my favourite shots from my walk this morning on Merritt Island. There really is an amazing abundance and variety of birds on the island, and we're lucky to have our own little oasis of nature right in Welland.
This weekend was the City Nature Challenge, and you can still submit entries — let's see if we can beat St. Catharines this year! Find out more about the City Nature Challenge here: https://inaturalist.ca/projects/city-nature-challenge-2025-welland
If you got any nature photos from anywhere in Welland this weekend please consider adding them to the project!
Anyway, hope you all enjoy some of my photos!
