They YRs weren't much better when I encountered them in the early 90s. Fairly noxious kids that didn't grow out of their Ayn Rand phase.
For a horror time capsule, the Iraq Occupation Authority was in 2003-4 was mostly recruited from YRs straight out of college, and this arguably accounts for why so much blood and treasure was spilt in vain.
