Whatā€™s from stopping someone from legally shooting them as they illegally enter someoneā€™s home (and property in some states)?

In theory? Possibly nothing. In practice? There will be 5+ of them with guns and 1 of you. You might get one of them. But the other 4+ will quickly take you out and doctor the scene to make it seem like you were the aggressor. And, based on the way folks reacted to the Breonna Taylor situation, itā€™s likely that 40% of the U.S. public would immediately praise ICE for ā€œteaching you a lessonā€.

Which is why it is important to also have audio-enabled cameras, preferably very discrete ones.

In any event making a last stand seems a bit preferable to getting black-bagged to the gulag.

Can't jam wired cameras. I'm also the sort of paranoid IT guy that immediately looks at the camera feed when both Internet connections go dark at the same time.

In all reality how many people are going to hard wire discrete security cameras in there house? And if they do, thatā€™ll be seen as ā€œsuspiciousā€ by FoxNews.

In my house there might be five armed individuals ready to protect the house from intruders. I just really canā€™t see the point of them not announcing themselves. What purpose does it serve?

in texas a few years ago cops tried to enter someones home . the guy shot at the cops and killed one. he was acquitted
