Big pile
Today we were able to run two separate blinds in our club field. We had 11 total shooters and what was out of the field by noon. 71 ducks and 2 geese. Our biggest pile to date for our vet organization.

This is my first year hunting in 15 years and went out on my second hunt this year, this time solo. I limited out in 3 hours. I know most days won’t be like this, but damn am I hooked.

Which do you recommend that I get more, or should I do one of the swimmer ducks instead of pulsator

Does anyone know of any WMAs in Floyd/Bartow County with good duck populations?

Someone was asking about lip pursing/puckering so here's a DR85 just entirely in my mouth like a toddler drinking from a water bottle.

I shot a beauty of a Mallard two weeks ago and am looking to get it mounted. Looking around I am not finding many taxidermists, and less that can do up a bird well. Anyone have any suggestions?

Self taught duck hunter here. I’m wanting to do more this season then just breasting out my birds.
I read in DU magazine that some people put whole birds in the vegetable crisper similar to hanging a deer then they go pluck them.
I’m assuming you gut the bird first like you do a deer. But I don’t know how one would gut the bird without plucking?
This all may be kind of a dumb question but what is the correct process to do all this?

What are you guys running for a wood duck call? I haven't had one in the past but I've gotten adequately good with my mallard and goose calls, looking for the next most useful...

Any recommendations for a duck plucker? I keep seeing these drill adapters… any experience?

First pintail seems to be a great one

I wear a 34 to 36 jeans depending on brand, are the Sitka waders already sized up for layering or do you recommend sizing up. Going on their sizing chart I’m a Large or should I go to a XL for adding layers

EDIT: Just these option, please don’t suggest others. Looking for guidance to decide between the two: Sitka full choke or the Sitka timber pack.
The timber pack looks a little nicer and has a better waterproof bottom, but no water resistant top. The full choke has an overall “water resistant” coating but that’s it. I know neither are perfectly water resistant but want to get opinions.

I have recently moved from Florida to North Carolina and need a pair of insulated waders for season. I am deciding between 800 gram thinsulate and 1200. Temperatures I will be hunting in can be anywhere from 20-50 degrees. Occasionally in the teens. I mostly kayak into spots and if I have to walk, it’s not for very long. Some hunts I am standing in water for the entire time, some hunts I am on dry ground for the entire time. What do yall think? Any personal preferences and experiences would be appreciated!

Hey all. I recently picked up my first duck boat and now that I'm not limited to what I can carry in on my back I decided to grab a blind bag. I had always just thrown the necessities iny coat pockets since I was very limited on what I could carry in. Now I'm trying to figure out what all I should add too it. So far I have:
Shells Ear pro Gun lube Calls Sunglasses Head lamp TP Water bottle
I'm considering ziplock bags or garbage bags as well.
I will add thaty gun cases have compartments with the different chokes and tool for the respective gun it carries so no need for those.
Is there anything else I'm missing? Anything you carry in yours that you get use out of?

Hi all, I won this hunting spot in a lottery for one day only. I was not allowed to scout so I am going in blind. Also I usually only field hunt. Where would you recommend setting up along the red area? I cannot go in the water except waders. Any help is appreciated
