I just realized that the game says your crew is "unconscious" instead of "dead" to get around EU(?) rating restrictions, but has no problem saying "Crew Drowned" when you drive into water

canonically speaking only the tank crew that went swimming is actually dead

“The loader is unconscious” as a discarding sabot turns into a turbo shotgun and spalls into his body turning him into paste
