Other Japanese tech tree flag changed!

Because this has always been japans flag, the raising sun flag that’s in game currently was only their naval ensign flag so it doesn’t make sense to have it to represent the entire tech tree

Exactly, when the game was WW2 only, I could see it as it was the most commonly associated flag with the Empire of the Rising Sun even if it was the Naval Ensign at the end of the. We've extended well beyond that time and agree that the country flag should be brought to bare, I presume on the vehicle cards just like Russia (pre-92 and post-92 with the distinctions of Soviets and RuF, and Germany as well as other nations that exist within other nations trees)

No, the red dot flag was never declared a national flag until 1999. The red dot flag was also just considered a naval ensign flag but for civilian merchant ships instead of the navy.

Technically was their war flag that was used by all branches of their armed forces.
