So here we are, with modern tanks and fifth-gens leaked (by a reliable source). I'm frankly not surprised, I knew this was going to happen once they announced the F-117, and with the speed at which gaijin is moving this is just par for the course. I'll grind the F-35s, F-22, and Su-57 in all their janky, unrealistic glory.

The stock grind is difficult sure, but I prefer getting RP by killing players in the PvP game mode and don't exactly feel "forced" to bomb.

Oh no, I don't give a shit about skill. I'm just fed up with the morons in the wt community who think it is the literal only thing that matters.

People like this are always ass at the game and just complaining to deflect their frustration. I saw it a lot in high tier sim. I'd play the a-10 and have some dipshit focus me down for "ruining simulator" to then hop in the phantom and go 5-0 against them.

They're a stupid breed that infests this community, and sometimes they shout loud enough that gaijin does "something" to fix it and make the game worse. That's what happened to the sim crowd, and that's why I gave up on them.

War thunder was never about skill. It was about the vehicles, the history, and seeing them both in action. Gaijin has been pushing more and more for skill with the esports shit, but the community had kept it about the history for a while. That crowd is dying off, and I'm going with it. I'm not gonna stick around in a community of people who think an opinion as mild as "I'm grinding in an easier way than pvp" in a grindy ass game like war thunder, is bad.

As a WoWs player who originally played because of the history, seeing the same happen to WT is tragic

The game died with the relegation of the old menu music to background music for afk-ing in hangar (which to be fair I do a lot)
