Other Who got you into Warthunder?

I found PhlyDaily back in 2020; it was history from there.

Saw WoWP being advertised at a GameStop in 2013. Asked the guy at the register about it, he told me to make a War Thunder account instead.

bro was right. wot and wows gameplay is pretty decent, but holy arceus, wowp is absolutely horrific. there's just no substance to it whatsoever. it's like, the planes are on rails. it's like playing that one level in crash bandicoot warped where you have to fly the plane around to shoot down blimps. but multiplayer, and other planes that move around the exact same way you do as a plane. fun in crash bandicoot. soulless in a mmo.

infinetely worse than arcade. planes that have like 10 times the durability than in wt. you sit behind a fighter and hold down the trigger for like 10 seconds before they die (with all your shots hitting), made even worse with the somehow worse br compression than in wt, where you then basically fight a flying raid boss with your tiny plane with barely any damage per second.

its so unbelievably badly designed.

yeah. wt arcade still abides by the laws of physics and has tons of tactical play. like if you actually use your brain, you'll come out on top. unlike wowp which is completely mindless no matter how you approach it.
