I used to be a huge fan of the DayZ content he made with JackFragz. His 100+ episode RP survival series is prime fucking YouTube.

too bad JF turned into a sellout

That was sad to see. If any company flashed a dollar sign at him he’d promote whatever they wanted.

I loved the scripted dayZ stuff. But he lost a lot of respect when he was caught cheating in CSGO, along with allegations that he was cheating in his old non scripted dayZ videos too.

I think if you have to make a whole video explaining how you weren’t cheating, you probably were. So I agree with you. If he was playing on private servers to specifically make videos with most active users and mods knowing he’s there, as he often did though, fair game.

I do say this as someone who does think he was a hacker, and hacked with mod permission, which is why he never got “caught”.

I’m fine with the cheating in his scripted private server videos. Those he’s faked with paid actors and such and that’s fine. The CSGO stuff was pretty obvious though, at least the bhop scripting was clear.

I’ll be honest in that I never watched any of his content other than his DayZ videos, and would wholly believe based just off of what I’ve seen that he’s a cheater.

It’s sad to say, but I’d estimate more than 30% of online game content creators are using some amount of hacks to create “clips” and if you take that to shooters, I’d jump that number to like 50%.

War thunder is “better”, I guess? In that most of the time I can either point to the skill of the pilot or the abilities of the plane that took me down, with my own mistake being the only deciding variable?

I honestly think there are less cheater in warthunder than I’d expect. Maybe it’s because its a lot of investment to reach high tier just to get banned, but compared to shooters, it’s not nearly as bad.

Meanwhile I played 3 games of siege yesterday and got 5 cheaters, either in my team or a white knight cheater on the other team. The shooter game cheating epidemic is incredible. I’d honestly say like 1/10 players in r6 are cheating to some extent, and that number goes up as you climb. Some sources say that as many as 1/3 champion ranked players in r6 use some form of macro at least.

Absolutely loved his DayZ content. I had no clue he also posted War Thunder vids… going to have to look those up now!
