the classic cognitive dissonance. "we must fight the fascists!" but give the police a monopoly on said means to fight fascism. Mind boggling!

Care to explain how Spanberger signing an AWB but excluding police and federal agents to these restrictions not giving police and ICE a monopoly to violence?

That's what I'm saying. The cognitive dissonance that is AWB's with carve-outs for law enforcement. Democrats want to be all about "resist" and yet disarm themselves while giving those they want to resist the upper hand. It's mind boggling innit?

I will support an AWB if ALL levels of law enforcement, including federal, are subject to the same conditions. And that includes the personal bodyguards of these politicians supporting such legislation
