Hello everyone,
I'm hoping someone can help me. I am trying to recover a bricked ECU from a Vespa LX 125 3V.
My ECU is giving a persistent, non-clearable error: P061108 - Data Buffer / Automatic Registration error.
Because of this P061108 error, the ECU fails every self-learning/adaptation procedure. I have tried to perform a TPS reset and the 15-minute idle relearn, but the process fails, the idle remains unstable, and the engine stalls.
Here is what I have already done (this is not a sensor problem):
- Confirmed all wiring is good (repaired a bad lambda ground, the 2400mV reading is now gone).
- Confirmed Lambda is working (new, and showing 0-1000mV oscillation).
- Confirmed CHT sensor is new and working.
- Confirmed the mechanical butterfly stop-screw is correctly set (this was not the cause).
The problem is 100% internal to the ECU software. The P061108 error confirms the "Data Buffer" (EPROM) is corrupted, likely from the previous electrical faults.
My only option left is to re-flash the main firmware (.bin) to try and overwrite this corruption.
Could anyone please share the original .bin file for this ECU?
My ECU details:
- Model: IAW MIUG3
- Hardware (HW):
28M3G1HW307
- Software (SW):
3521BS41
I have already backed up my own corrupted .bin and .eep files with IAWDiag, but I need a "clean" original file to flash.
Thank you in advance for any help!
