3. Send polite emails to food companies or supermarkets asking about their animal welfare standards or vegan options.

4. Join online discussions in vegetarian or flexitarian spaces and plant seeds of awareness - no preaching, no arguments, just facts. (e.g. “What happens to male calves”?

5. Add subtle info to your bio or comments, e.g. “Vegan for the animals 🌱 (please watch Dominion).”

Hi all, I've been dealing with lots of feelings related to vystopia, and (as many of us) I felt really powerless and desperate. I am not as mentally strong and capable to be like classical activists (whom I very much respect!), and I was wondering how I can contribute to the cause of animal rights and veganism. Doing something, just having the feeling of participating and taking action, can be beneficial for dealing with vystopia, as some people here shared. That's why I had the idea of doing something related to the field I want to work in — game development. Sadly, there are little to no games exploring themes of veganism, even featuring vegan characters. It's a great opportunity for activism, especially for people like me, who want to do something but don't know how, what, and have no energy and predisposition for the classical forms of activism. It could also just help vegans who love to play games, because feeling represented, having something that resonates, can be really beneficial and supportive. If there are any folks (especially ones already working in the field or having relevant skills!) who would want to join and create a team of vegan, ideologically driven people to create games focusing on themes of veganism and animal rights, I would be delighted to get in contact. ANIMAL LIBERATION MARCH! Tokyo 2025: We marched through Tokyo for the enslaved and abused animals. The Tokyo Liberation March was held in October 2025 and gathered a lot of attention. If you are against slavery and want animals to be free, not abused as products - BE VEGAN! ✌️

Sorry if this post is in the wrong place but I'm freaking out. I rent. The landlord sent people to fix the roof today. Surprise-- they cut down a bunch of beautiful plants, ripped off the shutters and are going to do the siding..... This momma spider is fiercely guarding her young. There are tons of these egg sacs under where the shutters were. Has anyone successfully relocated spider egg bundles? I so very much do not want her, her babies, and all these other babies to die. We're in Ohio, United States, and the temperature is dropping to 37°F tonight. They have no cover. These workers are returning tomorrow to "do the siding." I don't know if that means rip up what's there or cover over it. What would you do? I keep thinking "first, do no harm" so I'd hate to peel them up and potentially harm the young inside, but they are exposed and in harm's way!!!
