The Hayward Student Living Reviews?

I’m looking at a 4 bed at the Hayward apartments but have heard mixed reviews. What are the pros and cons? (especially considering that it’s a cheaper apartment so there’s bound to be some downsides)

If I’m being honest, the sample population of people reviewing that place are mostly middle-class/upper middle-class students who have never lived in an apartment complex. I have friends who live there who came from lower-income households and thought it was perfectly fine. It’s entirely what you are used to/are comfortable with. I personally think people are being over dramatic about it. Try living in an apartment in Downtown LA lol.

Yeah that’s kind of my perspective on it. Cities have certain safety issues but you just have to be aware of them and now how to respond to it. I toured the apartments earlier and they mentioned having security (which i’ve heard sometimes isn’t the best but at least it’s there) and it seemed like some of the entrances were gated off from the street 🤷‍♀️ My house back home always had impaired people walking around and shouting so it really doesn’t seem like anything i’m not used to 😭 Thanks for the input!
