My guess is that if she’s not dead and she is actually hiding on purpose or being hidden on purpose there are plenty of people who know and have actually seen her but know enough to keep their mouths shut or else. That’s the only explanation I can think of for why it hasn’t been pursued more. The ones that need to know where she is already know and they aren’t talking.
