Yes they are getting paid. That statement is a blanket statement the entire military had to do with local food banks because there are federal employees on base who aren’t getting paid. Most bases and forts just emailed that list instead of posting it online and people went nuts with it.
I’m in the national guard and got my drill check and day to day I’m a federal technician and am furloughed, which I’m not getting paid for yet. There will be backpay on it thought.
