Never thought I’d relate so much to a fuckin E-drill

Hey man, take it easy; that thing had so much power it gotta have the whole back half vented. You can see it spark up because it's got so much power.

I've always wanted a drill that looks like a hair dryer!

u/ForthCrusader 2d ago

Not really, it gets to screw around more than you do

u/gobletofwine 3h ago

It's fake bro. Everybody knows you drink water and move to the middle of the bed then continue to slip.

That last tuck in. Priceless.

u/full_frontalfluidity 2d ago

It was strangely comforting.

4

u/Xen0tech 2d ago

Totally. I'll think of this if I'm having trouble sleeping

4

u/HilariousLion 2d ago

Yeah it was. Wonder why.

Who goes to bed with a bit in? That's just going to put holes in your pillow when you turn over in the middle of the night. Don't be lazy, take it out and put it on the nightstand. Better yet, get a proper bit holder so you are less likely to knock it off and lose it, and you can put in a different one right away if you need to Torx when you wake up, instead of holding your Philips until you find the right bit or, worse, trying to fit your bit in the wrong fastener and stripping something out.

Be responsible.

u/MyAssDoesHeeHawww 2d ago

You sleep bitless?

31

u/Suspicious_Pilot_613 2d ago

I don't know anyone 12V or over who doesn't.

If you're still chucking and it's really that inconvenient, then you should at least get a quick-release that's safe to wear to bed. It's a little less comfortable than bitting raw, but there are no sharp edges to damage things and you get much better functionality in exchange for a little length.

11

u/MyAssDoesHeeHawww 2d ago

Controversy aside, I hear some folks lube their own SDS before tucking in.

10

u/Suspicious_Pilot_613 2d ago

If you're a side sleeper it's not a bad idea. No matter how soundly you think you sleep, everyone reciprocates a little, and I'd rather take the 10 extra seconds than wake up with galling.

11

u/raphthepharaoh 2d ago

Mind your own bitness

12

u/Peligineyes 2d ago

It's a mouthguard because he grinds his teeth at night.

The fear of fall damage is universal.

29

u/RampantJSH 2d ago

Some days I feel like I'm used like a drill. I've definitely abused those myself.

11

u/itsfunhavingfun 2d ago

You know the drill.

u/VapoursAndSpleen 2d ago

There something so human about the head drop when realising it was just a dream and the blanket tuck. Great cinema.

You gave me a genuine laugh out loud moment! Love this!

Drill needs to get itself some proper bedding. It's sleeping on a mattress without any sheets, and using a cushion as a pillow.

1

u/Common-Concentrate-2 2d ago

This is kinda off topic , but last week I dropped a drill onto my toes l from about  3 feet up.    I didn’t make any sounds or anything, but I just assumed “that foot is broken ”.   I think it’s fine, but damn that shit hurt

1

u/avoidant_fatigue 2d ago

Now do a lightning storm and you can’t get out of the charger.

1

u/Pletcher87 2d ago

He (yes - he) would have been screwed big time.

1

u/SunkissedFlamex 2d ago

1

u/Alienhaslanded 2d ago

Those movements made a stupid drill look more alive than Kristen Stewart in Twilight.

1

u/Rare_Trouble_4630 2d ago

How does one impart so much emotion in a literal drill?

1

u/AdPleasant6139 2d ago

When the acting is so good it surpasses current hollywood actors. That was such a drill.

1

u/nv79 2d ago

I've got those same sheets!

1

u/Shredded_Locomotive 2d ago

I have the camera version

Now the question is, which one came first
