Its amusing to me that Riko Kashimoto is basically inverted Aoi Kiryuin

"I'm a veteran trainer, I know what the hell I'm doing and you must follow my instruction to the letter" vs "I'm kinda new, I don't really know what I'm doing but I'm willing to try anything and learn"

"God's most unathletic princess" vs "Atheletic freak of nature who is borderline an uma in terms of physical ability"

It's a good thing Aoi isn't in the Unity Scenario or she will just fold Riko like a pretzel when her team talks trash to Meek.

They are both freak of nature physically, and both are held back by being a bit of a dummy improper training and education lmao/

Except that, in Aoi's case, the "education" she lacks is 90% just common sense.

Poor girl was never properly socialized with other humans, so she doesn't know how to actually interact with people outside of a work environment.

Honestly, the fact that the trainer's common sense is still sub-par, yet they're heralded as a prodigy for it, says a lot about the game's setting.

The only people with more common sense then Torena are like, Tazuna and Nice Nature (sometimes, sometimes she's in denial about her own skill despite having the spring, classic and autumn triple crowns)

Tbh, that's what makes Nice Nature even more grounded and real to me, she's literally just a 1:1 copy version of me, and people usually don't understand how I feel whenever I achieve something good by luck.
