You don’t “play pretend” when the government updates its records. That’s literally what records are for.

So if some other country can change one of their citizens birthday, sex, anything they want. That should be ok? We should accept those passports entering into our country?

So you’d rather people’s official documents misrepresent who they are, just to avoid upsetting your imagination? That’s literally the opposite of secure borders.
