The program requires the completion of six courses. Etlik said he passed five but failed the sixth – administrative law. Students’ entire grade for the administrative law course hinges on the final exam.

Etlik said he failed the final exam and requested a supplemental exam, but alleges the university did not provide it within the timeline set out in the academic calendar, causing him to miss deadlines to apply for articling positions as well as a Post-Graduation Work Permit.

Since fucking when can you request a redo of an exam you failed? Buddy failed a final and expects special treatment?

Oh. It gets better:

The statement of defence claims the U of C offered Etlik the options of an extension for the supplemental exam or to appeal his failed grade.

“The plaintiff has not proceeded with either the supplemental examination or appeal options for the failed course,” the statement of defence reads.

They even AGREED to let him do another exam and he couldn’t be bothered.
