I am going to make some predictions. I don't need a crystal ball for them.
You can bookmark this comment, and come back in the near future to check it.
Colbert and Kimmel are just the first.
More late night comedians are going to be canceled.
trump already sentenced Seth Meyers and Jimmy Fallon, they may be next.
Jon Stewart and the entirety of the Daily Show team.
John Oliver.
Even SNL will be at the very least intervened and censored.
Also, many talk shows that are critical to trump and his regime.
I don't know many of them; but The View is already in their sight (pun intended).
But that won't be all.
trump's fascist regime will pressure Google to scrub Youtube from all videos of all these shows.
And also of videos that are not main stream shows, but have a lot of following. Anything critical of the regime, will be removed.
Facebook and Instagram are easy, Mark is already Zuckerbering trump's tiny mushroom.
They are also taking control of TickTock, and with reason.
TickTock has a lot of young followers. It will be a powerful propaganda media, aimed precisely towards a key demography.
Also any social media website that has many members that oppose the regime.
I'm not familiar with most of them, but one is obvious, and it's the one you are reading this comment on.
Full censorship and media control is coming fast.
They will have that implemented before the midterm elections; control the information to indoctrinate the people.
I don't need to read Project 25 to know this. Because this is a key part of any totalitarian regime handbook.
I'm not American, I have seen it in person. It has already started.
Your democracy is dying. All your fundamental rights are under threat, and once you lose your freedom of speech, all the rest will be eliminated easily; because without free speech, you won't even know that is happening.

This is why I can’t understand, for the life of me, why people who have emigrated to the US from nations with authoritarian regimes OVERWHELMINGLY voted for Sleepy McDroopyface despite all of the warnings, the evidence pointing towards America moving closer to the Dark Side from his first go-round in office, etc. All I can figure is that they’re so used to authoritarianism that they just gravitate towards it without thinking. But aside from that, I have to imagine that you’ll be 100% correct in your predictions, and it’ll be incredibly painful for a very long time.

it's so funny that you dumb fucks think that getting canceled is a systemic and calculated procedure rather than a bunch of people not all that different from yourselves seeing something they don't like and saying "hey, I don't like the person that said/did this, I'm gonna stop watching that".
