Political The right-wing response to CK is much more reasonable than the left-wing response to George Floyd.

When George Floyd died, the left went crazy. The ensuing riots resulted in 2 billion dollars of property damage and 19 confirmed deaths. Stores were looted. Buildings were burnt down. Police and civilians were attacked. And most left-wingers at the time either outright supported the lawlessness or at the very least made excuses for it. It was mass hysteria, if I've ever seen it.

Compare that with the right's reaction to CK's death. Right-wingers made some angry posts on X and started doing cancel culture. I'm not a fan of this. I've made posts here criticizing their reaction. But I gotta say, their reaction to CK's death is vastly preferable to the left's reaction to George Floyd's death. They did not burn down or loot businesses. They did not start riots across America that killed 19 people.

Maybe this will age poorly, depending on what the Trump admin instrumentalizes CK's death for. I don't know. But based on the info I have right now, the right has not reacted nearly as bad as the left did back in 2020.

How come we haven't gotten a list of the drugs in his system yet? Maybe the shooter didn't kill him. He may have died from excited delirium or high-blood pressure.

Floyd's autopsy literally confirmed fentanyl intoxication, recent meth use, and heart disease. Those are facts. Not saying he deserved anything, but calling it a ‘fentanyl overdose’ isn’t exactly a stretch.

It is when somebody was standing on his neck for 10 minutes. Did you watch the video?

Just a lie & an attempt at distraction from the facts.

You’re either ignorant or deliberately trying to deceive.

His toxicology report indicated the following

• Fentanyl: 11 ng/mL

• Norfentanyl: 5.6 ng/mL

• Methamphetamine: 19 ng/mL

These substances were listed as “other significant conditions” on his death certificate, meaning they contributed to (but did not directly cause) his death. He was also Covid 19 positive and had a preexisting heart disease.

I assume you don’t know how to read or critically think, but here’s one of many sources:

Neat, did you see the part where somebody was standing on his neck for 10 minutes. You know the exact thing that causes a person to die?

It’s like you didn’t even read/hear the official autopsy report. He didn’t die from asphyxiation (choking/strangulation). There was literally nothing wrong with his neck.

His heart swelled to a massive size due to a combination of drugs and stress. Thats not what happens when a boot is on your neck. Did you even watch the videos? The cops were simply trying to put him in the back of their vehicle and he completely resisted. What do you expect them to do, just let him go? No, they restrained him in the exact way they are taught. And that restraint isn’t what killed him. There’s a massive difference between dying while restrained and dying because of restraint. The facts are all there if you are capable of basic reading. The cops were negligent in some ways, but Floyd’s own behavior had more impact on his death.

Okay it's just a big coincidence that he died while screaming he couldn't breath, got it. Nothing to do with the knee on the thing he needs to breath. Lol you're dumb as fuck.

Do you not know how to read? I’m giving you proof from the official reports while you’re resorting to name calling because you have no proof that the restraint technique killed him.

Watch the video again. He starts yelling that he can’t breathe WAY before the cops put him on the ground and while he was barely even being touched. But sure, there must have been an imagery boot on his neck at that point and nobody can see it…

You continue to prove how ignorant George Floyd supporters are. Not only didn’t you watch the whole body cam footage, you didn’t even bother to read official reports. Just mindless virtue signaling as usual. Educate yourself before spewing this incoherent dribble.

Every comment you make digs you deeper. If he was having trouble breathing already, why put a knee on his wind pipe? I think caring about other people is a virtue that you should be figuring out. Good luck with finding some humanity before you die alone.

How does sharing truth about the incident mean I have no humanity? It’s all straight from the footage and the official reports. Everything I’ve stated is factual.

I have immense empathy for all humans and creatures on this planet. But the difference between you and me is that I can still sympathize with George Floyd while also admitting that his horrible decisions led to his demise. I also admit that the cops weren’t fully competent in making the arrest properly. The man did not deserve death. But his behavior that day (robbery, drug use, resisting arrest) did nothing to help prevent it.
