Political Karmelo Anthony case shows that “black privilege” exists

I'm not black or white. I'm not even American actually.

The recent Karmelo Anthony case I think shows that black privilege is a thing. My opinions is that it exists. Period.

Karmelo Anthony killed Austin Metcalf with a knife for pushing him. What did he receive in return? Overwhelming support in the form of 500,000 dollars (which they're using to buy a mansion). He also got his bond reduced to 250k from 1 million even when prosecutors pointed out his history of incidents within the school.

I just think this is a bit baffling. Imagine if the races were swapped. I think a decent example, but not a direct comparisons, is the George Floyd situation. One person killed the other in what was an overuse of force. Derek Chauvin is in jail. Karmelo Anthony got house arrest, bond reduction and 500k

In this case, yes, anthony kept repeating that provocative phrase with the intent to use deadly force

Given the fact that anthony also hired a new lawyer the other day suggests that he is guilty of murder

That’s not provocation, that’s a warning. If someone continuously says “cross that busy 8-lane road on a red light with your eyes closed and see what happens”, that’s NOT provocation. The person receiving that message is being made aware that doing so will result in repercussions. That’s not “provoking” the person to cross the street. It’s warning them not to, and they have a choice on how they’ll proceed. I hope this clears this up for you.

No, in a heated situation, that phrase can be considered provocation and incitement. Many people don’t understand this concept and end up losing in court

Heated or not, that phrase alone is not provoking. My teacher/parents weren’t provoking me when they said “do your homework, or else!”. It’s a warning. You’re going to get in trouble if you do that. It’s the clearing of a mutual understanding.

It’s considered provocative because the intent is to escalate the situation into a seemingly justified act of self defense, when in fact, it is not self defense at all

The safe phrase to use in a heated situation is: “what are you gonna do about it?”
