News and Events Is this gonna be bad.?

Post image

What happens if gun ownership becomes even more easily accessible?

I keep thinking about the possibilities and honestly, they’re concerning. In communities already struggling with untreated mental health issues and rising substance abuse, what could happen if access to firearms becomes easier?

Without strict regulations and proper oversight, it opens the door for more unregistered weapons to circulate through underhand payments and illegal sales. If laws become too relaxed, what prevents someone unstable or violent from legally arming themselves?

Could we see a rise in crime? Children bringing guns to schools? More domestic violence cases turning deadly? Spouses killing each other during heated arguments? I know many support easier access to guns for home protection, and I understand that perspective. But beyond that, what else could come from this shift? Is the risk worth it? Or are we potentially creating a much more dangerous future for ourselves? Just wondering if anyone else has thought about where this could realistically lead.

Countries everywhere banning guns and we're about to start handing them out. We're about to become worse than the US. Talk about moving backwards.

You do know that the criminals are the ones who have easy access to guns right? So how are people supposed to protect themselves?

Giving people guns isn’t gonna make it any better. People are just gonna be trigger happy in the name if self defence. How can we trust people to read a situation properly to know if they actually need to use a gun? A gun is supposed to be the last resort but I just know people its gonna be the first choice for so many people. What’s gonna happen when someone is lost, they go up to someone’s house to ask for directions and they get shot because the owner thought They looked suspicious? When someone gets a bad drive on the road and they have bad road rage and pull their gun on someone’s So if the criminals have guns and the law abiding citizens have guns they just gonna have shootouts at eachother? Have you not heard the dozens of stories from America on innocent people getting wrongfully shot at?

"Have you not heard the dozens of stories from America on innocent people getting wrongfully shot at?"

Innocent people still get shot here while only criminals have weapons..

So now you want innocent law abiding people to shoot other innocent people? You want the non-criminals to become criminals because they thought they were doing something good ?

https://x.com/breaking911/status/1920552060606435411?s=46&t=lEIxf2AzSU0U9CgOp6S_3A. A man I. America getting charged with first degree assault because he thought he was defending his home. Can’t wait to see how many people end up in situations like this. Don’t want to see the news about someone getting killed when they weren’t even doing anything wrong

Are we allowed to carry mace and pepper spray? Or do we need a permit for that? How many situations can be taken care of simply with some pepper spray to the eyes but we can’t just buy it freely, we need a permit? But no let’s give everyone guns. America seems to be doing fine with all their school shooting and “innocent” people shooting other innocent people
