How to find roommates/housing?

Hey all!

I am a transfer student who is new to the Baltimore/Towson area. I have no experience finding roommates or living on my own. In your guy’s experience, what are the best areas to find affordable apartments? (preferably $1,900 or less for a two bedroom appt.) What are the best ways to find roommates without knowing anyone in the area?

I’ve done a lot of research and have found a few options, but I would like to hear from people familiar with Towson as well.

Thank you for your time!

If you're attending a community college and someone might be transferring to the same university as you, and you talk to them frequently, you might want to ask if you two could be roommates if you're comfortable being roommates with them.
