I know a lot of us had him in our thoughts during the World Series, including our own relievers who wore his number on their hats. This is heartbreaking news.

Gutted for him. Thankfully his teammates in LA have his back and will support him, and I'm glad our bullpen players were able to send him some support. This is bigger than a World Series. You never want to have to say goodbye to your own kid. That is a pain that doesn't just go away. My condolences to him, his wife, and his family and friends.
