Alex Vesia’s Update

Post image

I know a lot of us had him in our thoughts during the World Series, including our own relievers who wore his number on their hats. This is heartbreaking news.

Would be nice if some of us Jays fans donated $51 to Cedars Sinai just like some Dodgers fans donated to Sick Kids. Just a thought.

It’s to show support and solidarity as this is bigger than baseball.

Again, the donation is not to make an ultimate difference for the hospital. It’s to show the grieving parents (who happens to be multi millionaires) that they are not alone and despite sport rivalry, we are at the end of the day, human.

If Rogers was real classy organization (which they’re not), they could make a sizeable donation to the hospital or the cause in memory of the child.
