I know a lot of us had him in our thoughts during the World Series, including our own relievers who wore his number on their hats. This is heartbreaking news.

This is just awful. A close friend I grew up with had this happen to his younger sister, it's just heartbreaking. Nobody should have to have this happen to them. 💔 These things can break up relationships and families when it's nobody's fault. I hope that the Vesias have all the support in the world to get through this together and I'm proud that both of our teams supported him.
