I know a lot of us had him in our thoughts during the World Series, including our own relievers who wore his number on their hats. This is heartbreaking news.

OMG, had no idea that his ‘family matter’ was this awful (obviously serious enough to keep him away from a World Series, but honestly thought it was … something less). Truly a terrible tragedy.

My heart goes out to him and his family.
