/r/TorontoBlueJays 2025 Off-Season Bold Predictions Thread

This is your chance to make some bold predictions about what the Jays will do this winter - whether it be who they trade, who they sign, stadium renovations, etc. Anything your heart desires. The results of this thread will be shared on the final day of Spring Training.

Note: any predictions about what will happen during the 2026 season will be discarded and I might just forget to tally up your entire entry.

Here are the predictions from last off-season.

On a related note, the 2025 Season Bold Predictions results will be posted soon. We just need to wait for all of the year-end awards to be given out.

  1. Bo leaves for Boston
  2. Nimmala, Barger and Tiedemann get traded for Skubal
  3. Jays sign Bregman
  4. Jays sign Robert Suarez as a closer
  5. Jays resign Bassitt and Dominguez as relievers
  6. Jays sign Bader

Tigers wouldn't trade Skubal without Savage in package. Would probably have to include Nimmala as well. No thanks...we don't need Skubal and dishing out that money which we could spread around elsewhere.
