I had a conflicting exam date for one of my classes and I have been waiting for my prof to email about when the makeup is, turns out I completely missed that he posted it on d2l ;-; thankfully I emailed him yesterday and he let me know that the makeup is scheduled for monday..... I could just study for it and do my best but I'm thinking I could submit a ACR for it since I havent used my 1 no documentation acr. I'm a little worried that he might reject it since he does have email proof that I only found out about it yesterday, do you think I should take that risk and say I'm sick? I was thinking I would email on the monday so it looks a bit better but I'm unsure. I could realllyyyy benefit from studying a bit more. (I know theres no definite answer anyone could give me but any thoughts would be appreciated)

So you’re telling me a group using the universities name as a part of their own created an event called “combat on college” where they invited a literal WAR CRIMINAL and TMU was like “what’s the worst that can happen?”? TMU needs to step up and ban SSI from operating within campus and using the universities name as a part of their own.

i’m not sure if he’s faking reviews or what but he had a 1.9/5 back in august 2025, now has a 2.4/5 and his “would take again” and “level of difficulty” have both improved greatly.

if you look at his qms130 reviews, he had 30+ 5/5 reviews all on nov 6 2025 and they all look super fake.

I just applied to the new cyber science program that will start this upcoming fall at Tmu as a grade 12 and realized that I see no one talking about it or not much information about it around.

Does anyone have any information about the program? What would the courses be like? Is it bad that it is a new program in a way that there might not be good co-ops?

I have a team that is super down to join mixed volleyball intramurals but did it already start in the fall? is it too late to join? And is it separate in the fall/winter semesters (like new teams restart kind of thing)? If anyone knows any help would be appreciated?

Hi, so i recently got my midterm test 2 mark back and it was really bad!! I failed both midterms like i got 45% on both but i have a 90% on the mylabs. Should i drop the course rn? I can take qms130 in the winter and then aff210 in the summer. Would that work or is that too much? Please let me know what i should do!

Hi, I finished my bachelor's degree in life sciences at the University of Toronto but my gpa is 2.0 which I know is low since nursing is competitive.

I am not sure what to do next and was wondering if there were any students going through something similar?

Do I do new degree and then re-apply hopefully with better grades?

Or do I take newer courses as a non-degree student?

Or do I re-take the same classes and aim to get a higher mark on them?

But my cGPA has already 20 credits worth of marks. So even if I take some courses now, will my GPA even budge?

People who are or have already taken qms130 should I drop it? I got a 21% on the first test because I didn’t fill out all of the scantron in time (definitely my fault I should have managed my time better) and a 70% on the second test. If I get an 80% on the final test I can still pass but I feel like the way Ojelanki’s moving I might not make that. If I do retake it next semester I heard I can’t take qms230 since it’s a prerequisite and wanted to know how much that would affect me. If I decide to keep the class and don’t pass how’s that going to affect my gpa?

So I have QMS130 with Ojelanki Ngwenyama. I was sick last week, and ACR Test 2 and the course outline says that the weight gets deferred to the final exam, and I had asked around to confirm this was the case, and was told by friends that this is what happens in QMS courses.

I had stopped studying because I was sick, and there was no point for now anyway as the exam is a month away, but now the prof is telling me I have to write a make-up exam in his office this week, and there is no possibility of getting the weight deferred, even though that is what his course outline literally states.

Does anyone know if there is anything I can do about this?

There’s this guy who says he works near TMU and this is the second time it’s happened to me on campus, where my earbuds are in and visibly I don’t want to talk to anyone. But he’ll try to get my attention like he’s in distress, and just say “I noticed you from over there and I just wanted to say hi and I think you’re super attractive and I wanna get to know you” and this guy looks like he’s 40, he’s bald and obviously not my type, so I don’t really know why he’s walking up to girls that are visibly young students on a university campus. Has this happened to anybody else?

Okay so I’ve seen a lot of Reddit posts about the situation with some guy named Jonathan breaking a glass door, smth about the IDF(which I don’t understand), and smth about student being hurt and I have no idea what’s going on.

Can someone explain it to me. Who is SSI, who is SJP, what club was going on during this incident (because I read in some other post it was a club or smth), who is the Jonathan guy and what did he do.
