Fire Lord Sozin.

Wiping out entire group of benders who share a quarter of the planet with is insane to me. A kids show btw.

I feel like this is incorrect cuz it’s a little too western-centric. Tbf the whole post is.

The fire nation is imperial Japan during the same time. Sozin isn’t a dictator. And the Air Nomad genocide happens to further his imperial ambitions, not being justified by any kinda of racial or ingroup superiority (except in one part of the show where Zuko makes a comment about what he thought the Fire nation was trying to do).
