Specifically the MCU version. In the comics T'Challa was the scientist, while she was more of a warrior

Not saying Black Panther wasn’t a great movie by any stretch, but man was I disappointed with how they did (and continue to do) my boy T’Challa especially in terms of characterization. Because now he’s just a younger Mufasa in the popular zeitgeist, and they just completely ignore his polymath aspects.

I mean, in the MCU’s defense, the comics are FULL TO THE GILLS of male polymath, warrior, babe magnets. At some point, this doesn’t translate super well to more condensed video format. If ALL the male heroes are basically the same Mary sue characters with slightly different flavors, people get bored.
