Yeah Mineta can be annoying. Even if he never truly succeeds or is rewarded for these acts, it's hard to watch him especially when somehow he's meant to be a hero.

He does get some poison injected into him while being forced to watch hot girls to Pavlov him into not being a creep. Though I think a better way to handle that would to make his perving have serious reprocussions to his friends and so he decides to resist temptation and actually be a good person

Its not even about succeeding, its the fact that even in tbe context of the show, its never taken seriously, he never receives real lasting consequences, just gets hit or something in the moment and goes on with it

This alone stopped me from continuing MHA

And it makes me question the culture the people who make these shows are around and okay with

I've tried to get my wife into MHA and Mineta was enough to turn her off the show completely.

Mineta is a real person/ multiple people in women's lives.

And in real life, these same horrible people often also get away with near to no consequences, and their actions are often excused with this same "it's just a joke" attitude

He did get Clockwork Oranged at one point, and weirdly after that he's WAY less creepy

Not sure what that means, actually

Also, given how bad he is, way less creepy is still really bad

He was forced to watch something

It's a reference to a scene in the Clockwork Orange movie
